Former As the World Turns star Paul Leyden has been hired by The Young and the Restless to play a newly created role. Leyden worked at ATWT with soon-to-be Diane, Emmy winner Maura West. The Emmy-nominated Leyden will debut on Y&R in early October.

What is your reaction to Maura West being cast as Y&R's Diane Jenkins?
» The story: Maura West joins Y&R as the new Diane Jenkins

I'm over the moon. Maura is a superb actress and she'll be great on Y&R.
I love Maura, but I would've preferred her in a role other than Diane.
For the most part, I think it's a good idea, but I'll have to wait and see.
I'm not a fan of Maura West and wish Walter or Donnelley could've returned.
I am not familiar with Maura West, so I can't offer an opinion.
